Homelessness is a complicated situation that affects Utahns from all walks of life. Together, we can help homeless Utahns improve their health and quality of life. Our goal is to help by providing socks. A pair of socks can make the biggest difference in the world.

Why Socks?

Socks are among the most needed items at homeless shelters. Yet among the least often donated. Socks are often forgotten about or overlooked as a need. This is in part because used socks are rarely in good enough condition to donate.

Because of the shortage, the homeless population is often at risk for foot disease. Infections, blisters painful corns, frostbite, and numerous other problems all pose a threat. Since many of these people rely on walking as their primary mode of transportation, foot ailments can be a serious burden.

Donating a new pair of socks is a much needed and important way to help.
